Chapter 01

Overview

The ZH 300 series of over-and-unders came out of Zbrojovka Brno, which traded as Závody Jana Švermy from 1954 to 1968 and built hunting and sporting guns beside office machines and tractors. Gunsmith Emanuel Holek the younger, who joined its gun shop in 1955, worked on the designs of both the ZH 200 and ZH 300 series; the factory stopped making guns in June 2006.
