Chapter 01

Overview

Tikka is Sako’s stablemate, and the T3x that replaced the T3 in 2016 is the rifle that made sub-MOA accuracy an ordinary expectation at an ordinary price. It shares a factory and a barrel-making process with rifles costing three times as much.

Chapter 02

How it works

A two-lug push-feed bolt running on a light receiver, a single-stack polymer magazine, and a cold-hammer-forged barrel. The T3x added a wider ejection port, a metal recoil lug, and modular stock parts — a change of grip angle is a screw, not a new rifle.

Variants

Lite, Hunter, Superlite, Roughtech and the laminated Varmint, all on one action. The Compact Tactical and the .22 LR T1x share the T3x stock footprint, which means a young shooter can grow into the full-size rifle without changing how it feels.

Chapter 04

In the field

The default first centrefire across Scandinavia and increasingly everywhere else. Light enough to carry on a mountain hunt, accurate enough that the rifle is not the limit, and cheap enough that a scratch on the stock is not a tragedy.
