Chapter 01

Overview

Introduced in 1980 as the successor to the K-32, the K-80 is Krieghoff’s competition over-and-under, descended from the Remington Model 32 that American trap champion L. M. Donaldson brought to Ulm as the starting point. Olympic-level clay shooters around the world carry it.

Chapter 02

How it works

A nickel-plated steel action with a selectable mechanical single trigger and a length-adjustable blade, built on a modular principle so that barrels, ribs and stocks can be matched to the discipline. Trap and Sporting guns carry free-floated barrels; the Parcours has a fully soldered barrel set that Krieghoff credits with a lighter, smoother swing.

Chapter 03

Variants

Trap, Protrap and Trap Special for trap; Sporting and Prosporter for sporting and skeet; Parcours and Parcours-X; and the Victoria, shown at IWA in 2022. Gauges are 12, 20 and 28, with .410 also listed for the Sporting.

Chapter 04

In the field

Krieghoff sells the Parcours, Parcours-X and Victoria as field guns for game birds and small game, and all4shooters followed a German hunter who takes his K-80 Parcours after small game in rain or snow. On the range it is built for trap, skeet and sporting, down to a Monte Carlo trap stock.
