Chapter 01

Overview

In 2016 Schultz & Larsen called the Legacy the newest rifle in its range: small, short and light, but in the maker’s words extremely precise and stable. A left-hand version was promised for the middle of that year.

Chapter 02

How it works

Every part is machined from solid steel, then hardened, polished and blued, with a cut-rifled match-grade barrel and bases integrated into the action. A three-position safety allows unloading on safe, and the detachable steel magazine holds four rounds.

Chapter 03

In the field

The calibres are small by design — .222 Rem, .223 Rem in two twist rates, 6×45 and .300 Blackout — and the maker pitches it for pest control and for the smaller deer where these calibres are legal. All barrels share one bolt; in Sweden it is the bullet and load, not the rifle, that set the class, so check which game your ammunition is cleared for.
