Chapter 01

Overview

The S2 is Blaser’s side-by-side system, built both as a shotgun-rifle and as a double rifle, with the S2 Safari as a special model. Blaser pitched it for everything from quick successive shots to long range, from stalking at home to a demanding big-game hunt.

Chapter 02

How it works

It carries Blaser’s manual cocking system, direct triggers and the saddle mount on the barrels, with a robust action finish and steel-shot proofing. Within the line the barrel sets interchange after a one-time factory fitting, so an S2 shotgun-rifle can become an S2 double rifle and back again; the Safari needs its own fore-end.

Chapter 03

Variants

The basic models were the S2 shotgun-rifle (Büchsflinte) and the S2 double rifle, each offered in grades from Standard up to Imperial. The S2 Safari sat above them as the special edition, with its own calibre table separate from the other two.
